"Grating" while shifting gears

The gear jerks while being engaged (this happens when gear is not engaged in a single move, rather the lever is stopped at half travel and engagement is easily completed by partly releasing the clutch pedal).
TECHNICAL CAUSE
The analysis consists in ascertaining and identifying the customer's claimed fault, along with checking the car mileage.

Before performing the above operations, make sure that the customer's claimed fault and the conditions when the fault occurs are clear. |
OPERATION
If the car mileage is lower than 3000 km the customer's claimed fault may be generated by a missed gearbox run in.

Inform the customer that the gear lever stucking is a natural consequence of the gearbox production process and the problem should disappear while using the vehicle.
If the car has a mileage higher than 3000 km and the customer still claims about the fault, perform the following controls / operations:

Check the correct adjustment of gearbox controls (Bowden cables) and in particular make sure that there are no foreign bodies along the kinematic components. Possibly restore the correct operation.

Check the correct adjustment of clutch and pedal controls; then, check that there are no foreign bodies limiting the travel of the clutch pedal. Possibly restore the correct operation.
If the claimed fault persists, contact Te.Se.O without carrying out further interventions and/or replacements, attaching the following check list to the ticket:
