The front seats are available, on request, with a special heating system (comprising two heating elements located in the cushion and the backrest): this allows the seat to be heated to overcome the discomfort of cold passenger compartments in very harsh climates, e.g. when the car is left in the open for long periods in winter. The heating device located in each seat consists of two resistors activated by controls located on the centre tunnel between the actual seats. A special LED next to the switches indicates that the resistances are switched on. Once a certain temperature has been reached the heating stops automatically thanks to a thermal contact inside the actual device. The seat heating circuit is protected by two dedicated fuses and controlled by two relays located in the auxiliary fuse box in the luggage compartment. |

The power suply for the two seat heaters O040 and O041 - connector A for the cushion and connector B for the backrest - arrives via the relays T40 (left) and T41 (right) located in the luggage compartment fuse box B45 via the lines protected by fuse F62 in B045. The relays are energized by control signals coming from switches I065 and I066. The power supply for the switches I065 and I066 arrives from the ignition-controlled line (INT) protected by fuse F49 of M001. |
