The vehicle is available, on request, with a Portable Navigation Device (PND) with a very up to date design that is perfectly integrated with the vehicle.

Direct integration between PND and car is assured via the “Blue & Me” Bluetooth system: data from the CAN are used by the PND to improve navigation accuracy, PND voice messages are played on the sound system, navigation pictograms are replicated on the instrument panel and the destination can be programmed using the buttons on the steering wheel or by means of voice controls.

In addition to the satellite navigation system, the PND offers multimedia functions, such as music player and display for films and photographs.

The PND makes use of connectivity with the Blue&Me system to exchange information through a wireless connection.

The device is easy to install and removable using the specific support located in the middle of the dashboard.

The base of the display E065 receives an ignition-controlled supply - pin 2 - via the line for fuse F49 of the Body Computer M1.

Pin 1 of the display E065 is earthed.

The Body Computer M001 - connector A - receives a direct power supply from the battery through the line protected by maxi fuse F01 of the engine compartment junction unit B001.

The Body Computer M001 receives an ignition-operated power supply (INT) at pin 11 of connector E.

Pin 9 of connector E of M001 provides the Body Computer with a reference earth.

The PND exploits the connection with the Blue&Me to exchange information via a wireless connection between the actual device E065 and the Bluetooth control unit M162.

The CAN connection leaves the Bluetooth control unit M162 from pins 14 and 30 for the Body Computer M001 - pins 18 and 22 of connector D and for the other system nodes.
