On some versions, to extend and complete the parking assistance function, a PARKVIEW CAMERA, located on the tailgate, inside the model logo, is available as option. The car may also be equipped with a rear PARKVIEW CAMERA, which allows an image of the rear area around the car to be displayed on the radio/navigator screen each time reverse is engaged. The camera is activated/deactivated as the user prefers: this is made through the menu of the control panel. When the camera is activated, whenever reverse is engaged the display shows the image of the car rear area. The image is displayed, together with a warning message: after a few seconds, the message disappears. When reverse is disengaged, the image is still displayed for approx. 10 seconds, then the previously active screen is displayed again |

Pins 1 and 11 of connector G of M001 provide the Body Computer with the reference earth. The K151 rear camera receives power supply - pin 3 - from the ignition-operated line (INT) protected by fuse F51 of Body Computer M001; pin 1 is earthed The signals (+, − and screening) to display the image of the car rear area on the screen of radio/navigator P020 are sent from pins 5 and 6. |
