The Blue&Me system, alongside the Bluetooth technology for using a mobile phone in the vehicle, is also available with a navigation system for reaching a destination speedily and safely. The driver is guided to the destination by voice messages and instructions in the instrument panel display. The navigator makes it possible to: - enter a new destination - navigate to a point of interest (which can be selected from a list of categories such as, for example, hotels, restaurants, airports, railway stations, etc.) - acquire journey information (arrival time, distance from the destination, vehicle position) - recover the last destinations memorised - set preferences for the type of route to be followed such as, for example, motorway, toll roads, - simulate the route to a prearranged destination in advance. The GPS consists of an aerial that allows the vehicle to be GPS satellite-located: the aerial is connected to a receiver located in the integrated unit by means of a special shielded cable. The GSM aerial is connected to the GSM unit inside the control unit used for the connection of GPRS data for services such as traffic in real time, navigation, etc. The stylus aerial is fitted at the rear of the roof: it performs three functions (radio/GSM/GPS) because it also incorporates the radio aerial. Vehicle position is identified by analysing GPS data together with speedometer and reverse gear signals received from the vehicle. The navigation maps are loaded onto the USB device connected to the USB port on the vehicle. The control unit that manages the entire system is a CAN node via which information is exchanged with the Body Computer, the instrument panel and the other electronic units (e.g. the navigation system downloads information from the odometer, reverse engagement signal etc.). ). The control unit is then connected to the radio controls on the steering wheel (in addition to the radio control buttons, there are 2 specific buttons for this function). The entire operation of the system is also managed by voice commands, received by the microphone near the front roof light. There are three additional control buttons in the panel in front of the centre roof light: - NAV: launch of the Navigation Menu - display of incoming information with navigation activated - SOS: access to Roadside Assistance Services - Info: access to infomobility services For more details on the operation of the system See descriptions 5580M ON-BOARD NAVIGATOR |

Bluetooth control unit M162 is supplied directly - pin 16 - from the battery via the line for fuse F51 of the Body Computer M001. Bluetooth control unit M162 receives an ignition-controlled supply - pin 32 - via the line for fuse F61 of the Body Computer M001. Pin 15 of connector A of M162 is earthed. The CAN line that connects the Bluetooth control unit to the radio P020, the Body Computer M001 - pins 18 and 22 of connector D and to the other system nodes reaches pins 14 and 30 of M162. The Body Computer M001 is connected to the radio controls on the steering wheel via the clock spring D047: pin 35 of connector D provides the reference earth at pin 7 of D047; pin 52 of connector D of M001 receives the signals from the buttons to the right of the steering wheel, whilst pin 50 of connector D of M001 receives the signals from the buttons to the left of the steering wheel. The Body Computer M001 - connector A - receives a direct power supply from the battery through the line protected by maxi fuse F01 of the engine compartment junction unit B001. The Body Computer M001 receives an ignition-operated power supply (INT) at pin 11 of connector E. Pin 9 of connector E of M001 provides the Body Computer with a reference earth. The Bluetooth control unit M162 is connected to the radio P020 - connector C - from pins 5, 22 and 21 with the AUX left, AUX right and AUX earth signals. The USB port P143 is connected to the Bluetooth control unit M162, to pins 3, 4, 19, 20 and 31 respectively, with signals: signal D+, reference earth, signal D-, 5 V power supply and shielding. The hands-free microphone P026 is connected to pins 8 and 24 of M162. The navigation controls H135, located next to the front roof light, receive an ignition-operated supply at pin 6 via the line for fuse F49 of the Body Computer M001; pin 5 is earthed. The command for the signalling LED reaches pin 4 from pin 12 of control unit M162, the reference earth reaches pin 2 from pin 11 of M162, whilst the analogue signal for the buttons pressed leaves pin 1 for pin 28 of M162. |
