The sun roof provides a means of extra passenger compartment ventilation and ensures swift air exchange when necessary for improved passenger comfort. The front part of this extensive glass roof is mobile and the rear part is fixed. An manually operated inner blind that rolls into the roof trim ensures protection against solar radiation. The system is operated by a switch located near the front courtesy light that controls a motor with two different operating modes: when one end of the switch is pressed, the roof swivels open. When the other end of the switch is pressed, the roof slides open. Roof movement is controlled manually and automatically in accordance with the following strategy: - if the button is pressed for between 60 and 300 milliseconds, operation is manual: the roof moves only with the button pressed; - if the button is pressed for longer than 300 milliseconds, operation is automatic: even if the button is released, the roof continues to open/close until the end of travel position is reached or until the intervention of the anti-crush safety system; - pressing the button again whilst the roof is moving stops it in the position it is in; - if the button is pressed for less than 60 milliseconds, this is ignored (it is treated as an accidental knock). The electronic roof control circuit also includes an anti-crush safey function: when the roof is closing, movement is interrupted and reversed for a small section if an obstacle is detected, by means of a Hall effect sensor located on the motor. Sun roof movements via the control key are allowed only with key on. |

There is a standard type current socket in the middle of the dashboard in front of the tunnel console which can be used for the cigar lighter or for connecting instruments or equipment operating on 12 V. The boot compartment contains a second power point similar to the first on the left hand side. The cigar lighter heater coil can be placed in the front socket of the console; simply press the knob to operate it: after a few seconds it will come out automatically, ready for use. The ring around the first socket lights up when the side lights are on. See E2535 CONTROL LIGHTS The sockets are equipped with a thermal protection device: this protection cuts off the power supply if devices that absorb a lot of energy are connected. The circuit for the front current socket is protected by a dedicated fuse and controlled by the ignition-operated relay (INT/A) located in the engine compartment junction unit. The circuit for the rear current socket is protected by a dedicated fuse and controlled by the ignition-operated relay (INT/A) located in the luggage compartment auxiliary fuse box. |

The switch that controls the sun roof and the actual roof motor are connected to the vehicle wiring via switch D045. Pin 3 of D045 receives a direct power supply from the line for fuse F62 located near the luggage compartment fuse box B045. Pin 1 of D045 receives the ignition-controlled supply ocming from the Body Computer M1 - pin 24 of connector F - from the line for fuse F49 of M001. The Body Computer M001 - connector A - receives a direct powr supply from the battery through the line protected by maxi fuse F01 of the engine compartment junction unit B001. The Body Computer M001 receives an ignition-controlled power supply (INT) at pin 11 of connector E. Pin 9 of connector E of M001 provides the Body Computer with a reference earth. Pin 4 of D045 is earthed. The speedometer signal coming from pin 19 of connector B of M001 reaches pin 2 of D045. |

The current socket/cigar lighter P050 is supplied by the line protected by fuse F85 of fuse box B001; this power supply is controlled by relay T31 of engine compartment junction unit B001: it involves an ignition-operated starting exclusion power supply (INT/A) protected by fuse F31 of M001. The rear current socket P052 is supplied by the line protected by fuse F65 of the luggage compartment auxiliary fuse box B045; this power supply is controlled, as previously, by relay T42 of junction unit B045: it involves an ignition-operated starting exclusion power supply (INT/A) protected by fuse F31 of M001. |
