Check the condition of the ignition switch

Check whether the electrical switch is free from visible breakage

Switch damaged, replace steering lock and fixing bracket

Electrical checks on the switch

Disconnect the connections and check (with a multimeter) that the circuits 30-15/54, 30-50 in the Stop position on the switch are open and check circuit 30 -INT if the connector on the vehicle wiring is present (Fig. 1)

Circuit/s closed, replace steering lock and fixing bracket
