SPECIFICATIONS

The tailgate is produced by traditional pressing processes: it has an extensive bonded window with black serigraphed edges in the area where it overlaps with the structure. There is a defrosting circuit in the glass.

There is an opening in the lower part of the glass that houses the rear screen wiper control.

The third brake light and the rear window washer jet are arranged on the upper part of the tailgate.

A button (Alfa Romeo logo) is present on the bottom for the electric opening function.

The tailgate is opened by:

- using the electric handle;

- pressing the button on the remote control;

- in emergencies, using a special lever on the lock.

The tailgate is kept in position by two gas springs.

Emergency tailgate opening

To open the tailgate from the inside, if the battery is run down or after a problem in the actual tailgate electric lock, proceed as follows:

- extract the rear head restraints;

- fold the backrests over;

- to unlock the tailgate mechanically, working from the inside of the luggage compartment, use lever A.
