Driver's electric window door control switch UP function check

To carry out the analysis, place the ignition key in the ON position.

Disconnect the 18-way connector. Bridge terminals 3-16 at the connector wiring with a resistance of 340 Ohm and check that the driver's window closes.

If OK, replace the control panel

   Op. 7005M14 SWITCH UNIT ON DRIVER'S FRONT DOOR - R.R.

Connect the multimeter at terminals 3-16 of the panel: the reading should be 340+25 Ohm when the driver's electric window button is operated to close it

Renew the electrical wiring

Driver's electric window door control switch DOWN function check

Bridge terminals 2-16 at the wiring connector with a resistance of 340 Ohm and check that the driver's window opens.

If OK, replace the control panel

   Op. 7005M14 SWITCH UNIT ON DRIVER'S FRONT DOOR - R.R.

Connect the multimeter at terminals 2-16 of the panel: the reading should be 340+25 Ohm when the driver's electric window button is operated to open it

Renew the electrical wiring

Passenger side electric window door control switch UP function check

Bridge terminals 5-16 at the wiring connector with a resistance of 340 Ohm and check that the passenger side window closes.

If OK, replace the control panel

   Op. 7005M14 SWITCH UNIT ON DRIVER'S FRONT DOOR - R.R.

Connect the multimeter at terminals 5-16 of the panel: the reading should be 340+25 Ohm when the passenger side electric window button is operated to close it

Renew the electrical wiring

Bridge terminals 4-16 at the wiring connector with a resistance of 340 Ohm and check that the passenger side window opens.

If OK, replace the control panel

Connect the multimeter at terminals 4-16 of the panel: the reading should be 340+25 Ohm when the passenger side electric window button is operated to open it
