Dynamic Mode resistance check

Disconnect the wiring side connector for the dynamic control selector.

Place the dynamic control selector in the Dynamic Mode position (see figure 1).

Select the ohmmeter function on the Examiner.

Connect the probes between pins 4 and 5 of the dynamic control selector and check that the resistance value is in the following range.

Min. value 215.6 Ohms Max value 224.4 Ohms

Replace the vehicle dynamic control selector

   Op. 7040L53 VEHICLE DYNAMIC CONTROL SELECTOR - R.R.

Normal mode resistance check

Disconnect the wiring side connector for the dynamic control selector.

Place the dynamic control selector in the Normal Mode position (see figure 2).

Select the ohmmeter function on the Examiner.

Connect the probes between pins 4 and 5 of the dynamic control selector and check that the resistance value is in the following range.

Min. value 1950.2 Ohms Max value 2029.8 Ohms

Replace the vehicle dynamic control selector

   Op. 7040L53 VEHICLE DYNAMIC CONTROL SELECTOR - R.R.

All Weather Mode resistance check

Disconnect the wiring side connector for the dynamic control selector.

Place the dynamic control selector in the All Weather Mode position (see figure 3).

Select the ohmmeter function on the Examiner.

Connect the probes between pins 4 and 5 of the dynamic control selector and check that the resistance value is in the following range.

Min. value 646.2 Ohms Max value 703.8 Ohms

Replace the vehicle dynamic control selector
