The engine exhaust gases flow through the manifold and the turbocharger to the catalytic converter (1). There is a flexible element (3) in the front section of the exhaust pipe (2) to restrict the transmission of vibrations. The front silencer (4) and the rear silencer (5) are located on the remaining section of the exhaust pipe. Special guards (6) prevent heat radiating toward the body and fuel tank. The various components are supported by brackets (7) and circlips (8) secured to the body.
