The LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas) is stored at a pressure that varies according to the temperature and the composition of the LPG itself, between a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 25 bar. The gas tank comprises a ring-shaped container which is filled through a special filler connected to a copper pipe. The flow of LPG to the tank is controlled by means of a special function of the multivalve, fitted on the tank, that restricts filling to 80%.

A solenoid valve, also located on the multivalve assembly, cuts off the flow of LPG to the fuel system when switching from LPG operation to petrol operation or when the engine is switched off.

Through a copper pipe and a second solenoid valve located in the engine compartment, the LPG reaches the pressure reduction unit and then the injector rail through a gaseous LPG filter (low pressure). The injector rail supplies the engine with LPG through 4 hoses and as many connectors fitted on the standard intake manifold.
