TOMTOM PORTABLE NAVIGATOR

This model is available with a "TomTom" (Copyright TomTom International BV) multi-purpose portable navigator with a very up to date design that is perfectly integrated with the vehicle.

Direct integration between the portable navigator and the vehicle is enabled via the “Blue & Me” Bluetooth system, and is called "Blue&Me - TomTom" system: the data from the CAN of the vehicle are used to improve the precision of the navigation in the instrument panel, the navigation symbols are replicated on the instrument panel and the destination can be programmed using the buttons on the steering wheel or by means of voice controls.

The navigation voice messages are reproduced by the speaker of the portable navigator


All of this leads to guaranteeing the highest standards both in terms of comfort and safety.

In addition to the satellite navigation system, the "Blue&Me - TomTom" system offers multimedia functions, such as music player and display for videos and photographs.

In detail, the system makes use of connectivity with the Blue&Me system to exchange information through a wireless connection.

Vehicle data connectivity.

After linking TomTom and Blue&Me through Bluetooth (Pairing), TomTom receives all data about the vehicle from the car's CAN and supplies real time information about car use with the same attractive graphics:

- Advanced Trip Computer: all trip data in one screen

- Reserve warning: in the event of low fuel level, Blue&Me - TomTom informs the driver and directs him immediately to the closest petrol station, with information about methane and LPG stations as well.

- Point Of Interest: LPG and methane service stations are included along with petrol and diesel stations and Alfa Romeo Dealerships

- Telephone: phone book display, selection and display of the phone call in progress for the mobile paired with Blue&Me

- eco:Drive Info: real time information about the environmental effects of driving style, with suggestions on how to improve it by handling gearshifting and acceleration correctly.

Steering wheel controls:
