Refitting

The operation is carried out with the front end removed.

1. Undo the screws.

2. Remove the crossmember.

1. If present, undo the screw (1a) securing the airbag deceleration sensor (1b).

1. Move the sensor (1a) releasing the reference (1b) from the housing (1c).

2. Keep the spacer.

3. Release the wiring (3a) for the sensor from the band (3b).

4. Keep the sensor and wiring.

1. Unscrew the nuts.

2. Remove the sacrificial crossmember.

1. Working on the left lower side of the front end, undo the screw (1a) securing the intercooler pipe (1b).

1. Working on the right lower side of the front end, undo the screws (1a) securing the intercooler pipe (1b).

2. Undo the screws securing the radiator.

1. Remove the radiator unit (1a) from the front end (1b) releasing the lower pins (1c).

Removing

- Check that the front end is not damaged.

1. If the front end is replaced with a spare part, the various plates (1a) on the replaced front end must be moved to the spare part.

- Position the front end on the radiator unit and attach the lower pins.

- Tighten the screws securing the radiator.

- Working on the right lower side of the front end, tighten the screws securing the intercooler pipe.

- Working on the left lower side of the front end, tighten the screw securing the intercooler pipe.

1. Position the sacrificial crossmember.

2. Screw in the nuts and tighten them to the prescribed torque.

- Connect the airbag deceleration sensor wiring to the band.

- If present, position the airbag deceleration sensor complete with spacer attaching the reference in the seat.

1. Tighten the screw.

- Position the crossmember.

- Do up the screws.
