Refitting

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

    Op. 7040L22 REAR COVER ON TUNNEL - R.R.

1. Fit the tool (1a) as illustrated and remove the bush (1b).

- Carry out the same operations for the removal of the right side bush.

Removing

- Avoid fitting the bushes at low temperatures (e.g.: warehouse outside the workshop). - It is advisable to fit the bushes at a low speed, max. 10 mm per second.

- Follow the instructions below for fitting the bushes.

1. The slots (1a) for the bush should be aligned with the welding joining the track control arm half shells (1b).

- The reference in the centre area of the bush should be facing downwards for the left track control arm and upwards for the right one.

1. Place the bush in its seat, as described previously and fit it using the tool illustrated.

- Carry out the same operations for fitting the right side bush.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
