Refitting

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

1. Undo the nut (1a) and disconnect the connecting rod for the sensor for correcting the gas discharge light clusters (1b).

1. Position a suitable hydraulic lift under the rear crossmember by the spring.

2. Undo the bolt securing the shock absorber to the suspension crossmember.

3. If necessary, compress the spring using a tool of the type illustrated.

4. Slowly lower the hydraulic lift and remove the spring complete with tool.

- Carry out the same operations for the left rear spring.

Removing

1. Position a suitable hydraulic lift under the rear crossmember by the spring.

2. Compress the spring using the tool and then place it in its housing as illustrated.

3. Raise the hydraulic lift slowly until the lower shock absorber reference is aligned with the housing in the crossmember and then tighten the bolt to the recommended torque.

- Remove the tool used for compressing the spring.

- Lower and remove the hydraulic lift.

- Connect the connecting rod for the front sensor for correcting the light clusters and tighten the nut.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
