- Position the vehicle on a lift.

1. Remove the wheel hub nut protective stud using the tool.

1. Undo the nut (1a) and remove the wheel hub assembly (1b).

The bearing is built into the wheel hub and therefore cannot be separated from it.

 Refitting ( Removing )

1. Place the wheel hub assembly (1a) in its housing and tighten the new nut (1b) to the recommended torque.
