This model can be equipped with a radio and UCONNECT TM 5" , specifically designed to be integrated on the car: it is a 5" TOUCHSCREEN radio (called "VP2") with "new Digital Radio standard" (DAB) and is available in different versions: - with Bluetooth mobile phone management See E3570 INTEGRATED RADIO PHONE - with Navigator See E4090 NAVIGATOR In addition to the radio, the car audio system includes: - midwoofers and tweeters front speakers in the doors; - full-range rear speakers and tweeters; - cables connecting the radio with the speakers; The stylus aerial is fitted at the rear of the roof and has three functions (FM1 radio, DAB radio, if present, and GPS). The FM2 radio aerial uses the heated rear window heating elements. The radio is a CAN node through which information is exchanged with the Body Computer and with the other electronic units. The radio is equipped with an anti-theft system through the connection of the radio on the CAN with the Body Computer; it also manages volume control linked to the vehicle speed: the volume increases and decreases in relation to the speed of the vehicle: this information reaches the radio node through the CAN. Some versions are equipped with a series of buttons on the steering wheel: these make it possible to replicate some of the commands which are acquired in the same way by the radio itself. An external source can be connected to the AUX socket, located at the bottom of the central console For more details See descriptions 5570 ACCESSORIES A sophisticated HIFI system with special HIFI speakers and an outside amplifier can also be fitted. (see version with Hi-Fi system)

The radio P020 receives a direct battery power supply (pin 44 of connector A) through the line for fuse F36 of the Body Computer M001. Pin 43 of P020 is earthed. The CAN reaches pin 12 and 2 of radio P020 and connects it to the Body Computer M001 and the other system nodes. The Body Computer M001 is connected to the radio controls on the steering wheel via the clock spring D047: pin 35 of connector D provides the reference earth at pin 6 of D047; pin 52 of connector D of M001 receives the signals from the buttons to the right of the steering wheel, whilst pin 50 of connector D of M001 receives the signals from the buttons to the left of the steering wheel. The Body Computer M001 - connector A - receives a direct power supply from the battery through the line protected by maxi fuse F01 of the engine compartment junction unit B001. The Body Computer M001 receives an ignition-controlled (INT) power supply at pin 11 of connector E, whilst pin 9 of connector E of M001 provides the Body Computer with a reference earth. The following cables with signals for the speakers leave connector A of P020: - pins 47 and 51 to the front right speakers P035 and P045; - pins 46 and 50 to the front left speakers P036 and P046; - pins 45 and 49 to the rear right speakers P031 and P048. - pins 48 and 52 to the rear left speakers P030 and P047; The P025a (FM1 - DAB and GPS) stylus aerial and the P025b (FM2) aerial incorporated in the heated rear window are connected to the radio by means of dedicated coaxial cables. AUX socket P157, connector A, is connected to radio P020, connector A at pins 7, 6, 16, 17, 13 and 18, through the AUX-IN Reference, AUX-IN RG, AUX-IN LF, AUX-IN Detect, trim lighting, display earth signals respectively. Pin 12 of the AUX socket P157 receives an ignition-operated supply (INT) through fuse line F49 of Body Computer M001; pin 11 is connected to earth while pins 8, 9 and 10 are connected to the radio P020, connector E. |
