This model can be equipped with a UCONNECT TM" radio, specifically designed to be integrated on the car: it is a 5" TOUCHSCREEN radio (called "VP2") available in different versions:

- with DAB (new Digital Radio standard)

- with Bluetooth mobile phone management

In addition to the radio, the car audio system includes:

- midwoofers and tweeters front speakers in the doors;

- rear midwoofers and tweeters in the doors;

- cables connecting the radio with the speakers;

- FM1 stylus aerial, located at the rear in the middle and FM2 aerial that uses the heater elements of the heated rear screen with coaxial connecting cables.

The radio is a CAN node through which information is exchanged with the Body Computer and with the other electronic units.

The radio is equipped with an anti-theft system through the connection of the radio on the CAN with the Body Computer; it also manages volume control linked to the vehicle speed: the volume increases and decreases in relation to the speed of the vehicle: this information reaches the radio node through the CAN.

Some versions are equipped with a series of buttons on the steering wheel: these make it possible to replicate some of the commands which are acquired in the same way by the radio itself.

An external source can be connected to the AUX socket, located at the bottom of the central console

A sophisticated HIFI system with special HIFI speakers and an outside amplifier can also be fitted.

The radio P020 receives a direct battery power supply (pin 44 of connector A) through the line for fuse F36 of the Body Computer M001.

Pin 43 of P020 is earthed.

The CAN reaches pin 12 and 2 of radio P020 and connects it to the Body Computer M001 and the other system nodes.

The Body Computer M001 is connected to the radio controls on the steering wheel through the clock spring D047: pin 53 of connector H provides the reference earth at pin 6 of D047; pin 51 of connector H of M001 receives the signals from the buttons to the right of the steering wheel, whilst pin 38 of connector H of M001 receives the signals from the buttons to the left of the steering wheel.

The Body Computer M001 - connector A - receives a direct power supply from the battery through the line protected by maxi fuse F01 of the engine compartment junction unit B001.

The Body Computer M001 receives an ignition-operated power supply (INT) at pin 2 of connector G: this signal is used, amongst other things, to "wake up the network".

Pin 11 of connector G of M001 provides the Body Computer with a reference earth.

The following cables with signals for the speakers leave connector A of P020:

- pins 47 and 51 to the front left speakers P035 and P045;

- pins 46 and 50 to the front right speakers P036 and P046;

- pins 48 and 52 to the rear left speakers P030 and P047;

- pins 45 and 49 to the rear right speakers P031 and P048.

The aerials P025a (FM1 stylus on the roof) and P025b (FM2 built into the heated rear screen) are connected to the radio by means of coaxial cables.

AUX socket P157, connector A, is connected to radio P020, connector A at pins 7, 6, 16, 17 and 18, through the AUX-IN Reference, AUX-IN RG, AUX-IN LF, AUX-IN Detect, display earth signals respectively.

The socket also receives ignition-operated power supply (INT) - for its lighting - through the line of fuse F49 of Body Computer M001.

The P025a (FM1 - DAB and GPS) stylus aerial is connected to the radio by means of dedicated coaxial cables.

AUX socket P157, connector A, is connected to radio P020, connector A at pins 7, 6, 16, 17, 13 and 18, through the AUX-IN Reference, AUX-IN RG, AUX-IN LF, AUX-IN Detect, trim lighting, display earth signals respectively.
