The vehicle is equipped with a radio system comprising: - radio; - front speakers: woofers and tweeters in the doors; - rear speakers located in the rear side panels; - cables connecting the radio with the speakers; - FM1 stylus aerial, located at the rear in the middle and the FM2 aerial that uses the heater elements of the heated rear windscreen with the coaxial connecting cables. A sophisticated HIFI system with special HIFI speakers and an outside amplifier can also be fitted. On versions with a RADIONAV radio navigation system the radio/Audio CD/CD MP3 player is incorporated in the unit. The device is also equipped with: - SD card reader - GPS module - independent navigation module with maps - 6.5" TFT colour monitor - interface with the controls on the steering wheel The stylus aerial located in the rear area of the roof carries out two functions (FM1 radio and GPS) for the operation of the radio and the navigator. For more details, See descriptions 5580M ON-BOARD NAVIGATOR The radio is a CAN node through which information is exchanged with the Body Computer and with the other electronic units. The radio is equipped with an anti-theft system through the connection of the radio on the CAN with the Body Computer; it also manages volume control linked to the vehicle speed: the volume increases and decreases in relation to the speed of the vehicle: this information reaches the radio node through the CAN. A series of buttons on the steering wheel make it possible to replicate some of the commands which are acquired in the same way by the radio itself. |

The radionavigator P20 receives a direct power supply (pin 12 of connector A) from the battery via the line for fuse F36 of the Body Computer M1; Pin 16 of connector A is earthed. Pins 10 and 13 of connector A receive the CAN line by which the radionavigator P20 is connected to the Body Computer M1 and the other system nodes. The Body Computer M001 is connected to the radio controls on the steering wheel via the clock spring D047: pin 35 of connector D provides the reference earth at pin 6 of D047; pin 52 of connector D of M001 receives the signals from the buttons to the right of the steering wheel, whilst pin 50 of connector D of M001 receives the signals from the buttons to the left of the steering wheel. The Body Computer M001 - connector A - receives a direct power supply from the battery through the line protected by maxi fuse F01 of the engine compartment junction unit B001. The Body Computer M001 receives an ignition-controlled (INT) power supply at pin 11 of connector E, whilst pin 9 of connector E of M001 provides the Body Computer with a reference earth. The following cables with signals for the speakers leave connector A of P20: - pins 3 and 7 to the left front speakers P35 and P45; - pins 2 and 6 to the right front speakers P36 and P46; - pins 4 and 8 to the left rear speaker P30; - pins 1 and 5 to the right rear speaker P31. The aerials P25a (FM1 stylus on the roof) and P25b (FM2 built into the heated rear windscreen) are connected to the radio by means of coaxial cables. |
