The vehicle is equipped with a radio system comprising: - radio (with CD / MP3 player); - front speakers: woofers and tweeters in the doors; - rear speakers located in the rear side panels; - cables connecting the radio with the speakers; - FM1 stylus aerial, located at the rear in the middle and FM2 aerial that uses the heating elements of the heated rear window with relevant coaxial connecting cables. The radio is a CAN node through which information is exchanged with the Body Computer and with the other electronic units. The radio is equipped with an anti-theft system through the connection of the radio on the CAN with the Body Computer; it also manages volume control linked to the vehicle speed: the volume increases and decreases in relation to the speed of the vehicle: this information reaches the radio node through the CAN. Some versions are equipped with a series of buttons on the steering wheel: these make it possible to replicate some of the commands which are acquired in the same way by the radio itself. For more details See descriptions 5570 ACCESSORIES A sophisticated HIFI system with special HIFI speakers and an outside amplifier can also be fitted. (see BOSE Hi-Fi version) |

The radio P020 receives a direct power supply (4 of connector A) from the battery through the line for fuse F36 of the Body Computer M001. Pin 8 of connector A is earthed. Pins 1 and 3 of connector A receive the CAN line by which radio the P020 is connected to Body Computer M001 - pin 18 and 22 of connector D - and to the other system nodes. The Body Computer M001 is connected to the radio controls on the steering wheel via the clock spring D047: pin 35 of connector D provides the reference earth at pin 6 of D047; pin 52 of connector D of M001 receives the signals from the buttons to the right of the steering wheel, whilst pin 50 of connector D of M001 receives the signals from the buttons to the left of the steering wheel. The Body Computer M001 - connector A - receives a direct power supply from the battery through the line protected by maxi fuse F01 of the engine compartment junction unit B001. The Body Computer M001 receives an ignition-operated power supply (INT) at pin 11 of connector E. Pin 9 of connector E of M001 provides the Body Computer with a reference earth. The following cables with signals for the speakers leave connector B of P020: - pins 3 and 4 to the left front speakers P35 and P45; - pins 5 and 6 to the right front speakers P36 and P46; - pins 1 and 2 to the left rear speaker P30; - pins 7 and 8 to the right rear speaker P31. The FM1 stylus aerial P25 and FM2 incorporated in the heated rear windscreen - is connected to the radio by means of dedicated coaxial cables. |
