The Blue&Me system allows mobile phones to be used on board the vehicle safely. - Bluetooth receiver; - integral "Voice Recognition" unit including microphone (located next to the front roof light); - Text to Speech integrated module; - USB interface for Media Player. The control unit that manages the entire system is also connected to radio controls on the steering wheel (there are two special buttons for this function in addition to the radio control buttons). The entire operation of the system is also managed by voice commands, received by the microphone near the front roof light. The alphanumeric display used is that of the control panel. See descriptions 5560 INSTRUMENTS On the more comprehensive version, the Blue&Me system has a navigator with maps loaded onto the USB device connected to the USB port on the car. See E4090 NAVIGATOR For more details on the operation of the system See descriptions 5570 ACCESSORIES |

The Bluetooth control unit M162 is supplied directly - pin 16 - from the battery via the line for fuse F36 of the Body Computer M001. The Bluetooth control unit M162 receives an ignition-operated (INT) supply - pin 32 - via the line for fuse F51 of the Body Computer M1. Pin 15 of M162 is earthed. The CAN line that connects the Bluetooth control unit M162 to the radio P020, the Body Computer M001 - pins 18 and 22 of connector D and to the other system nodes reaches pins 14 and 30 of M162. The Body Computer M001 is connected to the radio controls on the steering wheel via the clock spring D047: pin 35 of connector D provides the reference earth at pin 6 of D047; pin 52 of connector D of M001 receives the signals from the buttons to the right of the steering wheel, whilst pin 50 of connector D of M001 receives the signals from the buttons to the left of the steering wheel. The Body Computer M001 - connector A - receives a direct power supply from the battery through the line protected by maxi fuse F01 of the engine compartment junction unit B001. The Body Computer M001 receives an ignition-operated power supply (INT) at pin 11 of connector E. Pin 9 of connector E of M001 provides the Body Computer with a reference earth. The Bluetooth control unit M162 is connected to the radio P020 - connector C - from pins 5, 22 and 21 with the AUX left, AUX right and AUX earth signals. The Media Player USB port P143 is connected to the Bluetooth control unit M162, at pins 3, 4, 19, 20 and 31 respectively, with signals: signal D+, reference earth, signal D-, 5 V power supply and shielding. The hands-free microphone P026 is connected to pins 8 and 24 of M162. |
