The front roof light includes two lamps with three control buttons: the buttons can be used to turn on the corresponding light directly or in a timed manner, as described below. The roof light operation is timed according to a logic managed by the body computer. - when any of the doors is opened, the lights switch on for 3 minutes; the timer is reactivated whenever the door is opened; - when all the doors are closed, the lights stay on for a further 10 seconds with key off. This time is interrupted if the key is moved to the key on position: in this case, the courtesy lights are turned off immediately. - when all the doors are closed at key-on the lights are immediately switched off. - when the key is extracted (or within 2 minutes of the engine being switched off) the lights switch on and there is a timed delay of 10 seconds. - all the lights are switched off at the door lock command; - at the door unlocking command, all the lights are switched on and a 10 second timer is activated. The power supply for all the roof lights follows the battery voltage control logic (SBMT): with the key on STOP, when any door or the luggage compartment is opened, a timed period of 15 minutes is set. After this, all the roof lights are deactivated. If one or more doors are open, this is shown on the instrument panel display; the warning light remains on until all the vehicle doors and tailgate are properly shut. If a given speed limit is exceeded, this is also signalled by means of a buzzer. |

The Body Computer M001 receives "door open" input signals at pins 54 (driver's side door) and 53 (passenger's side door) for connector B of M001; the rear swing door open signal reaches pin 39 of connector F of M001. Front roof light G010 receives a supply from the line protected by fuse F32 located in the Body Computer M001. The front roof light G010 receives a supply from the Body Computer M001, according to the logic described previously, from pin 13 of connector F, whilst the timed analogue signal arrives from pin 9 of connector F. The Body Computer M001 - connector A - receives a direct power supply from the battery through the line protected by maxi fuse F01 of the engine compartment junction unit B001. The Body Computer M001 receives an ignition-operated (INT) power supply at pin 11 of connector E, whilst pin 9 of connector E of M001 provides the Body Computer with a reference earth. Body Computer M001 is connected via the CAN line to instrument panel E050, to which it sends a signal that switches on the "door open" warning light, where necessary, and activates the buzzer to give an acoustic signal. The supply with side lights on - from pin 30 of connector F of M001 - lights up the controls near the central roof light G010, connector B. |
