With the engine on and engine temperature approximately 90°, or as an alternative, activating the compressor (A/C version), check fan activation

Disconnect the wiring from the fan connector and supply it directly with a 12 V voltage, using a DC feeder. Check that it rotates correctly.

With the engine running, position the terminal of the ammeter clamp on the fan positive cable and measure the current uptake at max. speed, making sure it is below 18 A.
