Removing ( Refitting )

- Drain the sections of pipe from the pressure regulator to the LPG injectors, following the procedure and the instructions below

   Op. 1043A02 LPG SYSTEM LINES PIPE DRAINING OPERATIONS

- Return the car to the workshop (in petrol operation mode).

    Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R

    Op. 5530B52 BATTERY SUPPORT/DRIP TRAY - R.R

1. Undo the fixing nut and release the LPG filter retaining rubber band.

2. Loosen the bands (2a) and remove the LPG filter (2b).

1. Loosen the band and disconnect the connecting pipe for pressure regulator - filter to LPG filter.

Refitting ( Removing )

- Install the connecting pipe for pressure regulator - LPG filter and tighten the band, on LPG filter side.

The LPG filter must be fitted so that the arrow printed on it (indicating the flow of LPG) faces the LPG injector unit.

- Place the LPG filter in its housing, connect the pipes and tighten the bands.

Maintain a distance of 3 - 5 mm between the bands and the ends of the pipe.

- Tighten the fixing nut for the LPG filter retaining rubber band to the prescribed torque.

1. Open the retaining clip for the LPG injector unit inlet pipe.

2. Undo the nut (2a) and remove the LPG filter fixing collar (2b).

1. Open the pipe fixing bands (1a) and remove the LPG filter (1b).

Refitting ( Removing )

1. Place the LPG filter (1a) back in its housing and tighten the pipe fixing bands (1b).
