Removing ( Refitting )

- Drain the pipe from tank to LPG pressure regulator, following the procedures and the instructions below

   Op. 1043A02 LPG SYSTEM LINES PIPE DRAINING OPERATIONS

- Return the vehicle to the workshop (in petrol operation mode) and place it on a lift.

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

    Op. 7055B54 PROTECTION/GUARD UNDER ENGINE -R.R.

    Op. 0010T20 ENGINE COOLANT - CHANGE

    Op. 1043B40 PRESSURE REGULATOR FOR LPG SUPPLY - R.R.

- Position the LPG pressure regulator in a vice fitted with protective jaws.

1. Release the flexible ring and remove the solenoid valve - LPG filter unit.

1. Extract the cut out solenoid valve (1a) and the LPG filter (1b).

2. Remove the O-ring shown in the picture.

Refitting ( Removing )

- Fit a new O-ring in the seat.

- Place the new LPG filter and the cut out solenoid valve in position.

- Place the solenoid valve - LPG filter unit in position and engage the flexible retaining ring.

- Remove the LPG pressure regulator from the vice.

    Op. 1043B40 PRESSURE REGULATOR FOR LPG SUPPLY - R.R.

    Op. 0010T20 ENGINE COOLANT - CHANGE

    Op. 7055B54 PROTECTION/GUARD UNDER ENGINE -R.R.

- Connect the negative battery terminal.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.

    Op. 1043A04 GPL SYSTEM AND PIPES CHECK FOR LEAKS

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the LPG cut out solenoid valve coil on the pressure regulator.

1. Open the two retaining clips for the supply pipe from tank to LPG pressure regulator, located on the regulator mounting bracket.

2. Undo the screws fixing the LPG pressure regulator mounting bracket.

Refitting ( Removing )

- Fit a new O-rings on the LPG filter mounting.

- Place the LPG filter in position.

- Place the LPG filter cover in its housing and tighten the screws.

1. Tighten the screws fixing the LPG pressure regulator to the mounting bracket to the prescribed torque.

2. Close the two retaining clips for the supply pipe from tank to LPG pressure regulator, located on the regulator mounting bracket.

- Connect the electrical connection for the LPG cut out solenoid valve coil on the pressure regulator.
