TEST RESULTS

Make sure that the central locking system is working properly. In particular, check that the "independent boot" option is disabled.

Then close the doors using the mechanical key.

Move on to Step 1

2. Move on to Step 3

Connect the diagnostic equipment to the body computer node and check that there are no errors.

Move on to Step 2

Errors present

Continue as instructed by the diagnostic equipment.

Keeping the Examiner diagnostic equipment connected, check, in the parameters mode, that the boot lid opening/closing command using the remote control is correctly received.

Move on to Step 3

1. The boot lid opening/closing command using the remote control is not received.

2. The boot lid opening/closing command using the remote control is received.

1. Move on to Step 3

2. Replace the lock

In parameters mode, check that the remote control(s) is(are) working properly, in particular that the reception is OK for each individual button.

Move on to Step 4

The individual remote control commands are not received correctly

Replace the broken remote control(s).

Check the continuity/insulation of the electrical connection between the boot lid lock and the body computer

Move on to Step 5

Electrical connection interrupted or not insulated.

Restore the damaged electrical connection

Check that the fault is no longer present
