TEST RESULTS

Connect the Examiner diagnostic equipment to the diagnostic socket and check the following at the body computer node in parameters mode:

· the presence of the siren

In errors mode:

· that there are no faults with the siren

· that there are no faults with the A-BUS

Move on to Step 2

1. Siren not present

2. Siren faulty

3. Fault at A-BUS

1. Check the conformity of the vehicle

2. Move on to Step 2

3. Move on to Step 3

Check that the siren power supply is correct

Move on to Step 3

Fault with electrical equipment

Restore the correct electrical connection

 See E7015 ALARM

Check the continuity and the insulation of the A-BUS serial line between the body computer node and the alarm control unit

Move on to Step 4

Fault at A-BUS line

Restore the correct electrical connection

 See E7015 ALARM

Connect the Examiner diagnostic equipment to the diagnostic socket and check the following at the body computer node in active diagnosis

· the correct activation of the siren

· the condition of the A-Bus serial line

Move on to Step 5

1. The siren is not activated

2. Serial line interrupted

3. Alarm control unit defective

1. Replace the siren

2. Restore the serial line to correct operation.

3. Replace the alarm control unit

Check that the fault is no longer present

End of diagnosis

The fault persists

Replace the Body Computer
