Refitting

- Open the tailgate.

1. Working on both sides of the tailgate, release the retainers (1a) for the rods, then lower the rear parcel shelf (1b).

1. Release the seal and remove it.

Removing

- Check that the seal is intact and there are no signs of damage.

1. Place the seal (1a) in position so that the join (1b) is in line with the lock striker (1c).

- Lift up the rear parcel shelf and attach the retainers for the rods.

- Check that the contact between the seal and the tailgate is correct.
