1. Release the tailgate housing seal (1a) in the area of the roof lining (1b). 2. Release the retaining studs (2a) using the special tool.

1. Lower the rear part (1a) of the roof lining slightly and undo the bolts (1b) for the hinges (1c). 2. Remove the hinges. |

Refitting

- Check that the hinges are not damaged. - Restore the sealant between the hinges and the body, then position the hinges. - Screw in the bolts for the hinges without tightening (for alignment later on). - Carry out the adjustment after refitting the tailgate.
