Removing ( Refitting )

   Op. 5040C51 WATER SUPPLY PIPE TO AIR CONDITIONING HEATER - R.R. WITH AIR CONDITIONING CASING REMOVED

   Op. 5040C53 WATER RETURN PIPE FROM AIR CONDITIONING HEATER - R.R. WITH AIR CONDITIONING CASING REMOVED

1. Disconnect the electrical wiring (1a) from the retainer (1b) and from the cable duct (1c).

2. Unscrew the bolts.

1. Working on the right side of the air conditioning casing, extract the temperature sensor (1a) from the seat (1b) releasing the retainers (1c) and the tab (1d) from the seat (1e).

2. Disconnect the electrical connections (2a, 2b).

3. Disconnect the wiring retainers.

4. Release the retainer using a screwdriver.

1. Working on the left side of the air conditioning casing, release the retainer using a screwdriver.

2. Separate the half-casing with the evaporator (2a) from the middle half-casing (2b) releasing the lower retainer (2c).

1. Keep the half-casing (1a) complete with evaporator (1b).

- If necessary, separate the following components:

    Op. 5040C18 RECIRCULATION AIR INTAKE UNIT - R.R WITH AIR CONDITIONING CASING REMOVED

    Op. 5040C30 AIR CONDITIONING FAN - R.R.

    Op. 5040B32 EXPANSION VALVE (ORIFICE TUBE) R.R. WITH AIR CONDITIONING CASING REMOVED

Refitting ( Removing )

- Check that the evaporator is intact and not leaking and does not show signs of damage or deposits of dirt on the finned surface.

- Refit the components if they have been removed:

   Op. 5040B32 EXPANSION VALVE (ORIFICE TUBE) R.R. WITH AIR CONDITIONING CASING REMOVED

   Op. 5040C30 AIR CONDITIONING FAN - R.R.

   Op. 5040C18 RECIRCULATION AIR INTAKE UNIT - R.R WITH AIR CONDITIONING CASING REMOVED

- Position the half-casing complete with evaporator on the middle half-casing and attach the lower retainer.

- Working on the left side of the air conditioning casing, attach the retainer.

- Working on the right side of the air conditioning casing, attach the retainer.

- Connect the wiring retainers.

- Connect the electrical connections for the motors.

- Fit the temperature sensor and attach the tab and the retainers.

- Screw in the bolts.

- Connect the electrical wiring to the retainer and to the cable duct.

   Op. 5040C51 WATER SUPPLY PIPE TO AIR CONDITIONING HEATER - R.R. WITH AIR CONDITIONING CASING REMOVED
