Wash the gearbox thoroughly, spread with talc and carry out a road test.

Visually check that there are no leaks.

In particular, check the condition of the gaskets:

- gear input shaft gasket;

- rear cover gasket;

- differential oil seal

 

Move on to Step 2

1. Replace the gaskets

An oil leak can be seen from the gearbox/differential
