CHECK ON PAD SURFACE CONDITION

Operation

 

 

Check:

- the condition of the pad brake surfaces;

- that the pads are not worn

 

End of diagnosis

 

1. Brake surfaces vitrified or with traces of grease, oil or water

2. Front pads worn (reduced pad compressibility)

 

1. Clean again, check and remove the causes of the fault

2. Replace the front pads

When the brake pedal is depressed slightly (even with the brakes cold and at low speed) the steering wheel and the brake pedal vibrate.
