TEST RESULTS

Check that the adjustment knob is correctly fastened.

Move on to Step 1

Adjustment knob not correctly fastened.

Restore the correct fastening for the adjustment knob.

Check that the regulator cables are correctly attached to the retainers.

Move on to Step 2

1. Cable released from the retainer.

2. Cable broken.

1. Attach the cable in the special housing.

2. Lumbar adjustment assembly replacement

Check the regulator casing seal and make sure there is no slackness.

Move on to Step 3

Bolts securing regulator casing to frame not correctly tightened.

Tighten the retaining bolt correctly or replace it.

Check the condition of the lumbar regulator assembly.

End of diagnosis

Components broken/distorted.

Replace the lumbar adjustment assembly unit
