The following message appears on the control panel display: tyre pressure monitoring not available and the general failure warning light comes on

• The tyre pressure control unit (CPP) acquires information on the status of all four tyres via radio signals from the sensors. At the key on the sensors are interrogated through energizing by activators each in a control unit with an internal aerial. There is an activator/aerial for each of the 4 wheels. The CPP communicates with the NBC on the A-BUS serial line.

The fault signals in the control panel are not memorized when the engine is switched off and then started up again. In order to be able to display any failure messages sent by the control unit, the vehicle must be moving for a short period
