CIGAR LIGHTER ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT CHECK

All OK

Problems encountered

Operation

Check the following, in order:

- Cigar lighter fuse

- Cigar lighter relay

- Cigar lighter power supply and earth

- Continuity and insulation of cigar lighter electrical circuit

See E3070 CIGAR LIGHTER / CURRENT SOCKET

Move on to Step 3

1. Component defective

2. Connections not correct

1. Replace the component (in the case of a fuse, find out what caused it to blow)

2. Repair the connections

See E3070 CIGAR LIGHTER / CURRENT SOCKET

All the sockets are equipped with a thermal protection device: this protection cuts off the power supply if devices that absorb a lot of energy are connected.

When the cigar lighter is pressed or a consumer is connected to the dedicated connection, the cigar lighter / current socket does not work.
