Test results

Check the following, in order:

- fuse box fuses

- fuse junction unit

- power supply cable between fuses and switches

Move on to Step 2

1. Fuses damaged

2. Fault in fuse junction unit

3. Connections not correct

1. Replace the fuse and find out what could have caused it to blow

2. Replace fuse box control unit

3. Restore the correct connections

Check the condition of the earth lead for the switches in the control panel

Connections not correct

Restore the correct connections

Check the condition of the cable between the switches in the control panel and the electric window motors

Move on to Step 4

Connections not correct

Restore the correct connections

Check that the switches in the control panel are working properly

Move on to Step 5

Switches not working

Replace the switches

Check the operation of the electric window motor, in particular check the continuity of the inductor winding

Move on to Step 6

Winding open circuit

Replace the motor

Check the mechanical condition and impediments for the electric window

End of diagnosis

1. Electric window device faulty

2. Impediments found

1. Replace the window opening device

2. Remove the obstacle and check correct operation.
