CLIMATE CONTROL NODE CORRECT OPERATION CHECK

All OK

Problems encountered

Operation

Before starting, check the following conditions: ambient temperature around 20 °C, vehicle with doors and windows closed (during the cooling and measuring of the temperature).

With the engine on, at ambient temperature (check with the diagnostic equipment that the passenger compartment temperature sensor reading is about 20 °C), with the compressor on, place the control unit to AUTO, adjust the temperature to the maximum cold LO position, the distribution to the front position, the fan speed to 3 bars and the outside air intake function.

After around 5 minutes in these conditions check, using the diagnostic equipment, that the temperature value at the air vents decreases: from the starting temperature of about 20 °C (ambient temperature) gradually decreasing until the temperature of the front distribution air vents is between 6-10 °C.

Feel whether the air coming out of the vents varies in temperature (getting colder)

End of diagnosis

The air coming out of the climate control vents does not feel colder
