See table K080 AIR BAG FAILURE WARNING LIGHT ON

The air bag fault warning light is controlled by a dedicated connection to the airbag control unit Instrument Panel Node

The Air Bag wiring is a safety component. If there are problems with the cables or the connectors then the wiring should be replaced in one piece.

To apply this procedure, the following must be borne in mind:

1 - Measurements cannot be taken on the Air Bag wiring.

2 - The system fault diagnosis is started leaving the vehicle charges connected.

3- The fault should be "Present" or "Present Intermittently" and not "Intermittent". If the fault is Intermittent then the Procedure is not applicable; proceed with an accurate check on the line where the fault was signalled.

4 - Not all the simulation sensors are available (e.g. side impact sensors).
