1. If the adjustment is carried out after having removed the door, tighten the hinge bolts to the recommended torque.

- Lower the window to the end of travel position.

- Remove the door striker.

- Initially adjust the door within the door housing. To do this, the bolts securing the hinges to the body must be loosened.

- The crossmember supporting the dashboard trim must be removed to undo the upper hinges. Carry out the operation described below including all the preliminary operations.

1. Move the electrical connections support.

2. Release the flexible cover and adhesive and move them to access the inner bolt securing the door lower hinge.

1. Loosen the bolts (1a) securing the hinges (1b) to the body.

2. Adjust the door position by means of the slotted bolt holes until it is correctly aligned in the door housing.

It is advisable to work on one hinge at a time. The arrows indicate the possible movements for the adjustment.

3. After the adjustment, tighten the bolts to the specified torque.

- Refit the components removed in order to access the bolts securing the hinges.

- If necessary, align the door with the wing and the body as follows.

- Open the door.

1. Loosen the bolts (1a) securing the hinges (1b) to the body.

2. Adjust the door position by means of the slotted bolt holes until it is correctly aligned with the front and rear wings.

It is advisable to work on one hinge at a time. The arrows indicate the possible movements for the adjustment.

3. After the adjustment, tighten the bolts to the specified torque.

1. Extract the link (1a) and tighten the bolt (1b) to the recommended torque.

- Refit and adjust the door striker.
