Refitting

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

- Raise the vehicle.

1. Working in the middle area of the rear axle, undo the nuts (1a) and (1b) connecting the connecting rod.

2. Remove the connecting rod.

Removing

- Check that the connecting rod is not damaged.

- Fit the connecting rod in the housing.

- Tighten the rod connection nuts.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.

Reset the position of the headlamps using an Examiner or other diagnostic instrument.
