Refitting

- Open the fuse box cover in the engine compartment, remove fuse F21 (15 A) and start the engine several times until the fuel pressure in the distribution manifold is relieved.

- Fit the fuse removed previously and close the fuse box casing.

- Place the vehicle on a lift.

1. Disconnect the rapid connector (1a) and release the front fuel supply pipe from the retaining clip (1b).

1. Disconnect the rapid connector and release the front fuel supply pipe from the retaining clips.

1. Undo the screws fixing the steering box to the suspension cross member.

- Position a hydraulic lift under the suspension cross member.

1. Undo the bolts securing the front suspension crossmember to the body.

- Use the hydraulic hoist to lower the suspension cross member and remove the front fuel delivery pipe.

Removing

- Refit the front fuel delivery pipe in its housing and engage the intermediate retaining clips.

- Connect the rear quick connector for the front fuel supply pipe.

1. Place the suspension crossmember in its housing and tighten the bolts to the recommended torque.

- Remove the hydraulic lift.

1. Tighten the screws securing the steering box to the suspension cross member to the prescribed torque.

- Connect the front rapid connector for the front fuel supply pipe and attach the intermediate retaining clips.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.

1. Place the suspension crossmember in its housing and tighten the bolts to the recommended torque.

- Connect the quick connector for the front fuel supply pipe, distribution manifold side, and engage the retaining clips.
