Refitting

- Open the front door.

1. For the driver's door only.

Remove the handle (1a) from the bonnet release lever, releasing it from the square pin (1b).

1. Release the door housing seal in the area of the running board.

2. Undo bolts (2a) fastening the kick plate (2b).

1. Remove the kick plate (1a) by releasing the inner retainers (1b) using the special tool.

Removing

- Check that the kick plate is not damaged.

- Place the kick plate in position and attach the retainers.

- Tighten the kick plate retaining bolts.

- Fit the door housing seal.

- For the driver's door only.

Position and engage the bonnet opening lever handle on the square pin.
