Removing ( Refitting )

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

    Op. 4450B12 FRONT WHEELS (TWO) - R.R.

- Measure the length of the steering rods to be used in the refitting.

1. Undo the nut securing the steering rod to the steering knuckle.

1. Using the tool (1a) disconnect the steering rod (1b) from the steering knuckle.

1. Loosen the locknut (1a) and undo the steering rod (1b) and remove it.

 Refitting ( Removing )

1. Tighten the steering rod until the length is the same as at the removal.

2. Tighten the locknut the recommended torque.
