Refitting

- Temporary fit the power unit rigid mount and flexible mounting, timing side and remove the arm lift used to remove the timing belt.

1. Fit a suitable (6 mm diameter) pin on the flywheel through the special opening in the gearbox to be used for counter-torque.

Check that the pin is correctly inserted in the housing in the flywheel.

1. Fit the tool.

This operation is necessary, in spite of the flywheel locking tool having been fitted, to lock the pulley preventing it from bending during the loosening/tightening of the fixing screw with consequent damage to the internal locating pin.

2. Undo the toothed drive pulley screw.

- Remove the template.

3. Remove the toothed drive pulley

Removing

1. Place the toothed drive pulley in its housing.

2. Fit the tool.

3. Tighten the screw fixing the toothed drive pulley to the prescribed torque.

- Remove the template.

- Remove the pin used for counter-torque from the opening in the gearbox.

- Remove the power unit rigid mount and flexible mounting, timing side and remove the arm lift to install the timing belt.

Refitting

- Temporary fit the power unit rigid mount and flexible mounting, timing side and remove the arm lift used to remove the timing belt.
