Check that the level of the detergent fluid in the expansion tank is correct, also make sure that it is not leaking

Move on to Step 1

1. Insufficient detergent fluid level

2. Expansion tank damaged

1. Top up the detergent to the correct level

2. Replace the expansion tank

Check the condition of the pipes, in particular that they are not obstructed or incorrectly connected

Move on to Step 2

Pipes obstructed or incorrectly connected

Restore correct connections or replace pipes

Check the condition of the jets

Move on to Step 3

1. Windscreen washer jets damaged

2. Rearscreen washer jets damaged

1. Replace the damaged jets

2. Replace the damaged jets

 Op. 5050C10 REAR WINDOW WASHER JET - R+R CLEAN AND/OR POSITION

Disconnect the electrical connector, two-way electric pump motor side, and check for a control signal coming from the steering wheel interface

Move on to Step 5

No electrical signal

Move on to Step 4

Check the continuity/insulation of the electrical connection between the steering wheel interface and the two-way electric pump motor

Move on to Step 5

Connection interrupted or not insulated

Restore the continuity/insulation of the electrical connection

Check the operation of the windscreen/rearscreen washer pump

It is the same pump that carries out the screen washer function but operated in the opposite direction

Move on to Step 4

Pump faulty

Replace the screen washer electric pump

Check that the steering wheel interface is working properly: in particular, the rear wiper switch
