CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT.

Operation
Connect the Examiner diagnostic equipment to the diagnostic socket and check the following at the Body Computer Node:
that there are no Brake Light faults
the operation of the Brake Lights through active diagnosis
the plausibility of the Brake Lights On/Off parameter.
Move on to Step 6
1. Presence of error at Brake Light bulbs
2. The lights do not come on
3. The lights come on
1. Continue following the instructions on the diagnostic equipment
2. Move on to Step 2

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM CHECK.
Check the continuity/insulation between the Body Computer Node and the rear brake lights

Move on to Step 3
Wiring faulty
Restore the correct electrical connection.

BRAKE LIGHT BULBS CHECK
Bulb efficiency check
Move on to Step 4
Brake light bulb fault
Replace the brake light bulbs

REAR LIGHTS CHECK
Check the condition of the rear light clusters
Move on to Step 5
Rear light clusters faulty
Restore operation, replace lights if necessary

WIRING CHECK
Check the condition of the wiring between the brake light switch and the Body Computer
Wiring faulty.

CORRECT OPERATION CHECK.
Check that the fault is no longer present
End of diagnosis
The fault persists.
Replace the body computer
