Refitting

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

    Op. 7055B54 PROTECTION/GUARD UNDER ENGINE -R.R.

1. Loosen the band and disconnect the hose from the three-way connector.

1. Undo the nut securing the intermediate bracket for the pipe from the engine coolant reservoir to the turbocharger.

2. Undo the connector and remove the pipe from the engine coolant reservoir to the turbocharger.

Removing

1. Place the pipe from the engine coolant reservoir to the turbocharger in position and tighten the connector, complete with new gaskets, to the recommended torque.

The connector should be tightened keeping the pipe still. Any movements of more than 3° affect the seal of the connector.

2. Tighten the nut securing the intermediate bracket for the pipe from the engine coolant reservoir to the turbocharger.

- Connect the hose to the three-way connector and tighten the band.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
