Refitting

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

- Remove the upper cover on the tunnel complete with handbrake lever boot, with reference to

    Op. 7040L22 REAR COVER ON TUNNEL - R.R.

1. Loosen the handbrake cables adjustment nut.

2. Disconnect the cable from the keeper.

1. Undo the bolt and release the handbrake cable retaining bracket.

1. Compress the lever (1a) and release and remove the handbrake cable (1b).

Removing

- Place the handbrake cable in position and connect it to the brake caliper lever.

- Tighten the bolt securing the handbrake cable retaining bracket.

- Connect the cable to the anchor.

- Place the upper cover on the tunnel complete with handbrake lever boot in position, with reference to

    Op. 7040L22 REAR COVER ON TUNNEL - R.R.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
