Removing ( Refitting )

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

1. Undo the bolts (1a), release the brake caliper (1b) from the bracket and move it to one side.

1. Remove the rear brake pads.

2. Remove the rear brake pad sliding clips.
Refitting ( Removing )

- Fit new rear brake pad sliding clips.

- Fit new rear brake pads.

1. Place the brake caliper in positino and tighten the upper bolt.

2. Retract the rear brake caliper cylinder using the tool.

Retract rear brake caliper cylinders

  

Make sure that the splining on the brake caliper cylinder is horizontal in order to allow the subsequent matching of the reference on the brake pad.

1. Complete the fitting of the brake caliper (1a) by tightening the bolts (1b) to the recommended torque.
